Izzy 'Criptastic' Kaufman
PRESIDENT
Izzy embraces their multifaceted role at the Institute on Disabilities (IOD) at Temple University where, as part of the TechOWL team, they lead a program in collaboration with the Developmental Disabilities Council of PA called Tech Champions. Izzy also works with the Health Equity team at the IOD. Izzy has a Master of Education in Human Sexuality Studies from Widener University. -

Charlie Miller
VICE PRESIDENT
Community Engagement Director at the Dauphin County Library System, Charlie is a dedicated Disability Justice Advocate who boasts a wealth of experience navigating the realms of disability rights and the arts. Beyond this, Charlie brings a global perspective through their involvement in international peacemaking initiatives in regions such as Palestine/Israel, Colombia, the US/Mexico Border, and Jordan. -
Caroline Davis
SECRETARY
Born with bilateral moderate to profound sensorineural hearing loss, Caroline grew up mainly attending mainstream schools, attended Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) for her undergraduate studies, and then transitioned into the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. She is a school-based occupational therapist for the Chester County Intermediate Unit, working with students of various ages and diagnoses. -

Tony Derrico
TREASURER
Tony is the Chief of Staff at Art-Reach, a Philadelphia-based organization dedicated to creating an inclusive and accessible arts and culture community. He is known for using technology to streamline operations and for his commitment to making arts and music programs accessible to people of all ages and abilities. -

Matt Berwick
BOARD MEMBER
Matt is the Senior Program Manager, Disability Accommodations for Clinical Services, at the UPMC Health System in the Disabilities Resource Center and teaches part-time at the University of Pittsburgh. He currently serves on the Pennsylvania Department of Health's Spinal Cord Research Advisory Committee, and as the President of the United Spinal Association of Pittsburgh. -

Charles W. Horton Jr
BOARD MEMBER
As the manager of the CCT Program Eligibility and Regulatory Compliance at SEPTA since 2022, Charles is responsible for overseeing ADA compliance, program development, and strategic operations. Prior to this, he held the position of Senior Director of Advocacy and Inclusion at Inglis, where he championed initiatives to support the inclusion of people with disabilities. -

Kevin Mundey
BOARD MEMBER
Kevin is a Deaf Interpreter for the Philadelphia Chapter of Black Deaf Advocates and the larger community. In addition to extensive committee service, Kevin served on the Mayor's Commission on People with Disabilities and is the Commission's liaison officer. -

Rita Jo Scarcella
BOARD MEMBER
Coordinator of ASL Interpreter Services for Sign of the Times, Sign Language Interpreter Services, Rita Jo has been actively involved in the Deaf, Deaf/Blind, Hard of Hearing, and Disability communities for more than 25 years. She supports numerous social justice organizations by providing advocacy and coordinating access services for various events. -

Vicki Landers
FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Vicki founded Disability Pride Pennsylvania in 2012 out of love for the disability community and a fierce belief that disabled people deserve accessible spaces to celebrate, have fun, and show their pride. What started as a small gathering has grown into a statewide movement creating joyful, inclusive events across Pennsylvania. -

Connie Vandarakis
SPECIAL PROJECTS
Connie is an international disability consultant and a master teacher of inclusive dance, known for her extensive career in academia and advocacy for inclusive arts and movement. -
