Join Disability Pride Pennsylvania for the Philly Outdoor Adventures Selfie Scavenger Hunt. Explore the city, discover iconic landmarks, celebrate local favorites, and show us what outdoor adventure looks like to you.
Take a selfie, post it to Instagram, tag @disabilitypridepa, and use #OutdoorAdventures so we can follow along!
Complete the hunt in any order and at your own pace. Visit one location or challenge yourself to find them all. Selfies may be taken from any safe, accessible viewing point. A friend, family member, or support person can join your photo or take it for you. People that finish the selfie scavenger hunt will receive two FREE tickets to our Disability Pride After Dark party on October 23rd! More details are coming soon.

Fishing Adventure

Join us for a fishing adventure on the Schuylkill River Trail at the Walnut Street Dock!
Stair Access: Staircases are located at 24th and Walnut, north and south of the bridge.
Ramp Access: Ramp access onto the trail can be found at both Chestnut Street and Market Street bridges. You can also get onto the trail at-grade at 25th and Locust.
Parking: There is a parking lot at 24th and Sansom and possible street parking in the neighborhood.
Public Transit: A 10-minute walk from 30th Station for SEPTA Regional Rail or Market Frankford Line. Also accessible via SEPTA bus routes 7 & 12 at 23rd and Locust and SEPTA bus route 9 at Schuylkill Avenue and Chestnut Street.

What began as a single gathering has grown into a vibrant, disability-led tradition that reflects the strength, creativity, and resilience of disabled people across the region.
This anniversary celebration invites the community to come together for an accessible, welcoming day of connection, culture, and pride—uplifting disabled voices, local leaders, artists, and organizations who continue to shape Pittsburgh as a place where disabled people belong and thrive. Join us as we celebrate how far we’ve come and recommit to building a more inclusive future, together.

Join us for Disability Pride Philadelphia where this year’s theme is We Belong Here and We’re Here to Stay!
Accessibility Features: ASL and visual interpreters, accessible restrooms, a sensory zone, lowered speaker output, and clear signage. We use an oversized park for better spacing, which includes areas for rest, shade, and reflection. Masks are encouraged and available at our tables.
Parade kicks off at 11:30 at the north apron at City Hall and festivities at noon!
Philly PRIDE Sensory Zone
Join us for a quiet space only to decompress, wind down, lay your head down, and/or enjoy a sensory activity. This year looks different as does PRIDE but it is important to provide this space for our neurodivergent community members. PRIDE is for everyone and we are creating a necessary space. Borski Jr. Park on Saturday, May 2nd 8:00am-11:00am! This will be a morning of intentionally accessible birding and we encourage people with all skill levels to attend (even if you have never been birding!)

City Nature Challenge Bioblitz

We’re joining Green Philly, Feminist Bird Club Philly, Andrew the Arborist, and the Philadelphia Mycology Club at The Woodlands for this year’s City Nature Challenge! Participants will use the app iNaturalistto explore the biodiversity of The Woodlands (an incredible green space located in West Philadelphia) all while participating in community science! Community science data collected through iNaturalist observations is key to help monitor urban biodiversity health.
