Support Our New Lucky 13 Accessible Joy Fund

We're 13 this year, and still growing!

In 2013, a small group of disabled advocates and organizations had a radical idea: What if we just … celebrated? And they threw the first Disability Pride celebration in Philadelphia.

Because joy is radical. And disruptive. And contagious. And ours.

Since then, Disability Pride Philadelphia became Disability Pride Pennsylvania and brought accessible celebrations to Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, and beyond — spreading now to Erie, Washington, and communities in between. From food trucks and face painting to games and ASL interpretation, Disability Pride brings the joy.

Some people think 13 is unlucky. Some people think that about disability, too. Our Executive Director Vicki Landers disagrees — and she's been proving it for 13 years. Besides, 13 is her favorite number.

Help us celebrate year 13. Every dollar fuels joyfully accessible programming across the commonwealth.
